Yesterday, the music world lost an amazing musician. If you don't know Alex, he was in the 60's pop group The Box Tops, and in the 70's was in the extremely underrated but influential band Big Star. Hell, Big Star pretty much invented the genre of Power Pop! If you listen to anything today, please honor this man's fantastic career by checking out some of his work.
