Remembering the 80'and 90's : Spotlight Performance

It's time for another SPOTLIGHT PERFORMANCE!!!

The internet was really making life hard for me when I was looking for a performance, people. I went through four or five artists, and there were very limited live performance videos for the songs I wanted; it was soooooooo annoying!!

But I was able to find one that I wanted, so here we go.

Here are the clues:
1.)This is an American R&B trio.
2.) All three members are from New York City (2 from The Bronx, 1 from Brooklyn)

Any other clue would give away who it is, so LETS GIVE A NICE, LOUD ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR.....

Remembering the 80'and 90's : Spotlight Performance

So, here are the clues to who will be performing in this video:

1.) This performer is an American R&B singer-songwriter and record producer.

2.) According to the Internet, this performer has written and produced over 26 No.1 R&B hits throughout his career, and has won 11 Grammy Awards.

3.) This might completely give it away, but his birth name is Kenneth Edmonds.

HEY YALL!!

So first, Happy commercial holiday day...I mean Valentine's Day! lol But honestly, you can defiantly show someone you care for them anytime of the year, not only on this rando day. Some of you are now probably thinking "You're single aren't you?" .....Well, I say.... I'm just stating the obvious yo! And Valentine's Day should be love for all the people in your life, not just a significant other! That should be how the holiday is promoted.

Okay, being serious now, Happy Valentines Day everyone and I hope you had a wonderful Friday the 13th the night before!

1.) This is a Canadian/American Hip-Hop group
2.) The group's first album, Breaking Atoms, has a song featuring Nas, which is supposedly his first on-record appearance.

Late, Late, Late, Late, Late, Late. I'm finally posting up the final SPOTLIGHT PERFORMANCE for the semester!! Finals had me occupied and then I forgot, but now I. am. ready.!

MOVING RIGHT ALONG

I'm seeing Christmas and other holiday decorations everywhere but I don't feel like anyone is in the holiday spirit. Maybe it's because I'm older and I don't really care for it too much anymore, but let's see if I can change that. My video will be Christmas themed to hopefully get the mood going.

ANOTHER EARLY SPOTLIGHT PERFORMANCE!!!

This is crazy; TWO times in a row?! I don't know why lately it's been really easy for me to find spotlight performance videos, but hey I'm not complaining!

Let's get things moving!!!

I want to shine a spotlight on one of the most influential rappers in Hip Hop history. Now, he is an artist everyone probably expected to be up already, along with a few others, but it has to be the right song and video for me to put up a post. This is the one I like for him.

SPOTLIGHT PERFORMANCE!

Yes, this an early one! Let's get to it!

I will now be leaving the female singers alone for awhile and heading back over to the male performers.

This artist is very much praised for his contributions to R&B music. He is probably one of the first people you play when you need music to set the mood for a romantic night with that special someone.

BIG CLUE: Space Jam...Remember that movie? That was the movie back in the day! Well, he's on the soundtrack.

SOOOOOO instead of slowing it down, lets JAM with

Better late than never, SPOTLIGHT PERFORMANCE!!!

SO, all weekend I have had this singers' songs on REPEAT. She has a voice that stands out from all other artists, that I know, and I just want everyone to bond with her on this song like I did.

This performance is a stray from my usual Hip Hop and R&B stuff. To me, this is like 80's soft rock/pop or something.

Now, before you play this song make sure your comfortable and in a chill mood because your about to have a swaying session WITH................................
