Top 100 music is really weird...here's why!(a rant out of interest)

I looked on billboard's website today and Pharrell's song "Happy" is suddenly at #1. This song was originally featured in the movie 'Despicable Me 2', but for some reason it didn't jump until the new album G I R L dropped. It sits in a sea of dance hits and indie underdogs....and John Legend. I have nothing against John Legend, but he never charted past 90 until apparently last month. Why? o_O
Another suprise is, as a Dancey DJ, DJ Snake is charting at 29. Apparently the combination of Trap and name of Lil' John out shined the likes of Diplo and some of Snake's better songs to not only chart, but really high! It was on the same page as Royals I believe. It's not Steve Aoki, thank gawd, but it's also not Skrillex or Zedd, who's got 2 dope songs off of the Clarity album that have yet to chart. Literally, I feel like people secretly care about Lil' John sooo much that the song rocketed to this spot. Snake has a bunch of better songs than this that Mr. John is the only explanation. The Johns are coming, both Legendary and Little!
I also went to check to see what was near the bottom and "Do You want to build a Snowman?" from the animated movie 'Frozen' is at 75? I understand that it was a good song, I understand that "Let it go" also charted and very highly...but it's sandwiched between Drake and the Florida Georgia Line. Also 'Let it go' is charted twice at the same time because Demi Lovato sang it too. Dat's pretty crazy! It's not like "Candle in the wind" being released a second time in the 90's...it's the same song released at the same time, each by a different artist!
Going off of that, "Everything is Awesome!!!" from the Lego Movie is charting at 57. Yay Tegan and Sara! So apparently animated films are getting good at making hits. This is above Elton John 'Lion King' levels and I'm just glad they're kicking out Katie Perry little by little because her newest songs are kind of really boring to listen to.
March is starting off as Movie Music Madness Month, enjoy your stay~
