Gorod - Process of a New Decline

I know I'm one of the few, the proud, the technical death metal fans... but this album is absolutely sick. You know how usually tech-death just kinda sweep-picks your face to shreds and that's it? No real groove or head bobbing, just some "wow they sure can play well."

Gorod is different.

They've always been a bit more jazz influenced and groove-based, which I've found cool. Listening to their track "Splinters of Life" from Process of a New Decline has been extremely educational in how a tech-death band can groove... and how! Take a listen and try to tell me that I'm wrong.

Gorod? More like GorAWESOME.
