so, I feel lyke I should post regular lil "updates" about shtuff I'm doing. It might also motivate me to actually get stuff accomplished a.k.a. "do shit" so I can post something meaningful rather than pointless ramblings.

So its been a little while since i did the artist of the week, but im getting back on track with a big way this week by highlighting the best that this year's 2009 CMJ festival in NYC had to offer. Check back tonight for the full list of what blew my (drunken) mind in NYC!

it's not often that i find a combination of two of my guilty pleasures wrapped into one: good acoustic music and a punk rock "im going to do this my way" mentality. Not many artists can pull this off at all, let alone pull it off well. One who can do it better than almost anyone currently is England's Frank Turner.
