A musical tribute to Tom Magliozzi, co-host of Car Talk with his brother Ray. Tom and I share four things-we both graduated from Northeastern (he had an MBA), we like cars, we love life,
and we love to laugh. Of course Tom graduated from MIT-he was a lot smarter than me. He also had a wonderful East Cambridge accent, which is just one more reason to listen to Car Talk.

To close out the show, I'm doing four tunes by two of my favorite singers who had birthdays last week, Bonnie Raitt (65) and Joni Mitchell (71)

The 10 albums that changed the way I listened to music-the occasional popping and skipping are due to the fact that I'll play some of the original vinyl. I'll also remember Jack Bruce, bassist in Cream, who passed away last week.

Last week a friend of mine sat down at a piano and played parts of the Beatles "Lady Madonna" and Joni Mitchell's "Blond in the Bleachers." I had no idea my friend played the piano-after enjoying the songs, I got the idea to feature piano players on today's show. I finish the show with a celebration of Chuck Berry's 88th birthday.
