Columbia Records has released unpolished versions of tunes that were on the Basement Tapes and other songs Dylan and the Band recorded at the time that were not on the record. Also found were Dylan lyrics from that period (late 1966-1967). T-bone Burnett put together a collective of musicians including Jim James, Taylor Goldsmith, Marcus Mumford, Elvis Costello, and Rhiannon Giddens, who put music to these lyrics-the album the made is Lost on the River, the New Basement Tapes.
